Instead of relying on a few lonely lamps, we use integrated, curved heating modules.
Why the curve matters
Here’s the thing about glass annealing: you need a perfect thermal soak to get rid of those internal stresses. If your lamp is straight but your glass is curved, the distance between the two is always changing. That’s a recipe for disaster. We build quartz arrays that actually wrap around the tube. By closing that air gap, the heat transfer is way more efficient. We dial in the wattage per centimeter so the glass stays exactly where it needs to be—hot enough to anneal, but not so hot that it starts to soften and sag.
