It hits your tiles and grout, warming them up instantly. This forces the water to evaporate way faster than it would on its own. By keeping your walls warm, you stop condensation from ever forming. And if there’s no water, the mold spores have nothing to eat. Simple as that.
The “Safe” Stuff
You can’t just put any heater in a bathroom. Water and electricity are a bad mix. That’s why we build these to IP44 standards. It’s a fancy way of saying they’re splash-proof, so you can put them in Zone 2 areas without worrying about a short circuit. We also use high-grade quartz glass because it lets the heat through without blocking the specific spectrum that does the heavy lifting.
A few things to keep in mind
I want to be honest about the trade-offs. These lamps provide heat instantly, but they pull a lot of power the second you flip the switch. You’ll want to make sure your circuit breakers can handle that initial spike so you aren’t constantly resetting your power in the hallway. Also, be careful where you point them. They get hot. If you put a lamp too close to a plastic fixture that isn’t heat-treated, you might end up with some warped plastic. Just give it a little breathing room.
