Power, Voltage, and Size: The Sweet Spot
Here’s the thing about these heaters: they run at 400V and 2500W. That’s a lot of power packed into a small footprint. The tube itself is 300mm long, which keeps the whole unit compact while still giving you enough surface area to radiate serious heat. It’s the perfect setup for spot heating, but it does mean you need a power supply that can handle the load. And when you wire it up? Make sure you’re using the right gauge. The current draw is no joke for something this small.
Built to Last: Halogen, Quartz, and a Smart Connection
Inside that quartz tube, the halogen cycle does its thing. It keeps the filament temperature steady, which means the heater lasts longer and gives you consistent output, day after day. Quartz is also tough as nails when it comes to thermal shock. So you can cycle this thing on and off, day in and day out, without worrying about it cracking. We use an R7s connector, too. It’s a secure, quick-fit termination that handles the high temperatures at the ends. Basically, it’s a drop-in solution for any existing fixture you already have.
Where It Shines: Heat Where You Need It Most
This setup shines in places like PET blowing pre-heat zones, small ovens, or anywhere you need localized drying. The concentrated heat gets things hot fast—without having to warm up the entire machine. But there’s a trade-off. Because the heat is so intense, you’ve got to make sure your cooling and insulation are up to the task. It’s all about managing the ambient temperature and keeping your components safe.
